The Badaling Great Wall is a popular nighttime destination in Beijing. For the upcoming National Day holiday (October 1-7), Beijing Badaling Culture and Tourism Group will launch special night tours at the Badaling Great Wall. By creating a festive and harmonious spectacular impact through technological effects, the Group aims to offer Chinese and foreign visitors unforgettable nights at the Badaling Great Wall during the National Day holiday.
Prior to this year's Labor Day holiday, the Group teamed up with Beijing Performance and Arts Group to present a fully upgraded Dreaming Back to the Great Wall: the Cranes Afar (梦回长城·八方来鹤), a show dedicated to the Great Wall at night, allowing visitors to enjoy cultural performances about the tales of the bustling trade in centuries past, Qi Jiguang's heroic stories of border guarding, etc., while hiking on the Great Wall. The production, integrating lighting techniques, sound, music and other art forms, took visitors on a journey to the past to explore the spirit of the Great Wall.
Decorative lighting installations like tree branches, interactions with staff workers, and exciting stunt cars are just a few treats awaiting visitors at the Badaling Great Wall at night, designed to help visitors discover a different side of the Great Wall through appealing cultural and technological means.
Beijing Badaling Culture and Tourism Group has established partnerships with China Railway 12306 and Meituan to launch the products for the night tours at the Great Wall across 14 overseas sites of Ctrip.com. Notably, the "Throughout the Great Wall" ticketing platforms now have user interfaces in both Chinese and English. Also, three multilingual ticket vending machines supporting multiple payment methods are available for use on-site to improve the overall experience of visitors from outside China and make it easier for them to make purchases.
