The latest preparations for the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) have been unveiled. So far, more than 40 countries and international organizations have confirmed to set up exhibitions and host events in the name of their respective countries or headquarters. Focusing on nine sector-specific themes, including financial services, telecommunications, computer and information services, a total of 223 enterprises and institutions, such as Philips and COSCO SHIPPING, have expressed their intention to participate.

The 2026 CIFTIS will be held at Shougang Park from September 9 to 13. It will place a special focus on inviting foreign embassies in China, international organizations and national chambers of commerce to attend summits, exhibitions, forums and other activities. The World Intellectual Property Organization has been added as a co-organizer of the Global Trade in Services Summit. A new "Overseas Service Promotion Roadshow Area" will make its debut this year. The series of service trade development forums will be organized into four sections: opening-up and integration, win-win cooperation, digital and intelligent innovation, and green development, with nearly 50 events scheduled.

This year, efforts to attract professional visitors will be further strengthened. Institutions including the Embassy of Canada to China and the World Intellectual Property Organization have applied to host nearly 20 matchmaking and promotional events. More than 20 organizations, including AMT Medical Inc. and GE HealthCare, are expected to launch new technologies and products at the fair.
