The 3rd Beijing Park Art Season (the "Season" for short) has kicked off in late June and will run until the end of August, spanning major parks across Beijing. It will feature nearly 200 events across six sections, namely "Boundless Exhibitions" (无界展览), "Folk Customs Performances" (风物集演), "Co-Creation" (参与共创), "Immersive Experiences" (沉浸体验), "Cultural Gatherings" (文化雅集) and "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Collaboration" (京津冀联动).

Taoranting Park, Zizhuyuan Park and many other parks have launched art workshops, offering hands-on experiences involving garden-building and intangible cultural heritage handicrafts for visitors of all ages. Beihai Park, the Fragrant Hills Park, the Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture, Longtan Central Park and the Beijing Expo Park have introduced special nighttime activities, including nighttime garden tours and "Ferris Wheel Nights".

Several high-profile exhibitions are underway at these parks, ensuring immersive cultural experiences for visitors. These include an exhibition of cultural relics from the Western and Eastern Zhou dynasties at the Summer Palace, a special exhibition on the Hongshan culture at the Temple of Heaven Park, a joint exhibition of works by leading contemporary oil painters at Taoranting Park, and an exhibition of calligraphy by renowned contemporary artists at Zhongshan Park.

A wide range of concerts have also been scheduled during the Season. Zizhuyuan Park, Yuyuantan Park, the Fragrant Hills Park, the Temple of Heaven Park and many other parks will host special performances featuring Chinese folk music, music pieces of guzheng, love songs and more. The "Big Tree Concert" (大树音乐会) will be held every Sunday at Guangyanggu Urban Forest Park, while the 2026 "Music for Youth" (音为少年) concert for teenagers has been scheduled at the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway Heritage Park, bringing music into natural settings.

The "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Collaboration" section was set up for the first time, encompassing events including the Zhangjiakou Cultural and Arts Season (张家口文化艺术季), the Jizhou Cultural Tourism Day (蓟州特色文旅日) and an acrobatics tour from Wuqiao of Hebei Province. Meanwhile, the public art education program "100 Young Performers in Parks" (百名青年演员公园行) is expected to come to the Temple of Heaven Park, Zizhuyuan Park, Yuyuantan Park and the Beijing Zoo, presenting themed concerts, ethnic music concerts, children's theater productions, dance-drama parties and more.
