Since June 30, 2026, Beijing has introduced a new payment option for on-street parking. In addition to paying through the Beijing Transport (北京交通) app, users can now search for the "Beijing Road Parking Payment" (北京道路停车缴费) on WeChat or Alipay to access the mini-programs to pay directly. No download or installation is required, making the process faster and more convenient.

Previously, the Beijing Road Parking Payment mini-programs primarily offered a temporary payment (临时代缴) service for users who had not linked their vehicles. Following this major upgrade, the mini-programs have been fully revamped as the official payment channel, now offering the same services as the "Parking Services" (停车服务) section of the Beijing Transport (北京交通) app. New practical features have been added, including "Vehicle Binding" (绑定车辆), "E-Tickets" (电子票据), "Violation Handling" (违法处理), and "Registered Parking Lot Search" (备案停车场查询). After binding their frequently used vehicles, car owners can pay multiple parking orders in a single transaction. In the event of a penalty for overdue road parking fees, the violation can also be resolved online through the mini-programs. Users can also search for registered parking lots and access e-tickets at any time, making parking payments easier and more efficient.

The parking services available through both the Beijing Road Parking Payment mini-program and the Beijing Transport app will continue to be expanded and improved in the future, making travel in Beijing even more convenient.
