The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Promotion Conference on Supply Chain 2026 was officially held on June 22.
At the event, the Initiative for Actions to Serve the "Artificial Intelligence Plus" Industry of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Trade Promotion System was launched. This initiative will focus on launching coordinated investment promotion, project inspections and enterprise exchange visits across all three regions to facilitate efficient matchmaking of technology, capital, and projects in the artificial intelligence industry. Furthermore, it aims to leverage various exhibition platforms to showcase the region's latest advancements in cutting-edge artificial intelligence sectors, including robotics, computing power services, and large models. A wide range of international economic and trade exchange activities will also be held to fully support artificial intelligence enterprises within the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to expand their overseas business.
During the conference, the Artificial Intelligence Committee of Beijing Chamber of International Commerce was also officially unveiled. This new committee will focus on global expansion services, economic and trade exchanges, and policy interpretation, thereby driving the deep integration of Beijing's artificial intelligence industry into other sectors and domains.
In addition, several cooperation agreements were signed during the conference, too. For instance, the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce signed a memorandum of understanding on friendly cooperation with the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan. and a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Beijing Branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited.
