On September 4, international students from Tsinghua University visited Beijing's Bell and Drum Towers, Wanning Bridge, Yongdingmen Gate, and Xiannongtan (Temple of Agriculture) during the fourth thematic study tour of the 2025 "Bridges Beyond Cultures" (跨越文化的桥梁) campaign.
The tour was participated in by over 260 students, including the international students from more than 40 countries (Russia, France, Canada, Malaysia, the United States, Norway, Japan, Thailand, Italy, Vietnam, etc.) as well as the students from the universities participating in the "Jingcai Wenhua" (京彩文化) program.

Highlights of this tour for cultural exchange include the drumming ceremony on the Drum Tower, Wannian Bridge, the Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum, and Yongdingmen Gate Tower. The sightseeing tour of historic relics, coupled with immersive cultural experiences, offered a chance for a dialogue among people from multiple cultural backgrounds.

The wisdom of an agrarian civilization, as well as its urban-planning concepts and architectural construction techniques, led to tangible, contemporary resonances. These not only allowed international students to have a clear picture of the profound heritage of China's outstanding traditional culture, but also helped different civilizations solidify the basis for mutual understanding and dialogue among them.
