On June 7, the 2025 "Study in Beijing" Special Fair and Expo HSK was successfully held in Mexico City.

The fair aims to further enhance the international influence of Beijing's education, provide an international platform for Beijing's universities and middle schools to showcase their own characteristics and advantages, expand international student recruitment channels, and build the "Study in Beijing" brand. Thirteen well-known Beijing-based universities, including Beijing Institute of Technology, Capital Medical University, and Capital Normal University, presented comprehensive and detailed study-in-Beijing policy packages to local Chinese language learners and young students.

At the opening ceremony, Dr. Arturo Mendoza Ramos, director of the School of Languages, Linguistics and Translation at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), said that this event showcased in an all-round manner the high-quality educational resources of Beijing's secondary and higher education institutions, gave Mexican students the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese language and culture, and offered advancement pathways for learners with basic Chinese proficiency. He expressed his hope that this event would further deepen the friendly cooperation between China and Mexico in such fields as education, culture, and science and technology.
Mtra. Mariana Sosa Olmeda, director of the Institute of Secondary and Higher Education of the State of Michoacán, believed that the event—through education as a vital pillar—has demonstrated the increasingly close ties between the peoples of China and Mexico. She hoped to see more young people engage in exchange programs between Michoacán and China.
At the opening ceremony, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission designated the Mexico Huaxia Chinese Culture Institute as a "Study in Beijing" designated feeder school. Beijing Institute of Technology, Capital Normal University, North China University of Technology, Beijing Youth Politics College and Beijing No. 39 Middle School signed designated feeder school partnership agreements respectively with Mexico Huaxia Chinese Culture Institute. North China University of Technology, the Experimental Normal School Attached to Beijing Haidian Teachers Training College, and the Second High School Attached to Capital Normal University signed sister-school agreements respectively with Chihuahua Middle School in northern Mexico. Additionally, Capital Normal University and the School of Languages, Linguistics and Translation at UNAM held a scholarship awarding ceremony, with plans to sponsor 10 outstanding UNAM students to study at Capital Normal University in Beijing annually.

This education exhibition attracted more than 1,500 Chinese language learners, HSK candidates, parents and people from all walks of life from Mexico City, the State of Michoacán and surrounding areas to visit and seek consultation. The on-site atmosphere was vibrant and lively.
