Governments are continuously evolving, progressing from digital service providers to governments driven by data and, later, powered by AI. Urban governance follows the same trajectory, moving from e-governance and digital governance to AI-driven governance. Traditional approaches to smart city construction face numerous limitations and difficulties, some of which have not yet been resolved. The Republic of Korea hopes to leverage AI technologies to solve such problems.
