The 2026 Beijing Green Development Forum is taking place at the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center (BMC) from September 17 to 18. Under the theme "Green Empowerment, Low-Carbon Symbiosis", the forum features a "1+4+N" activity matrix, comprising an opening ceremony and main forum, seven parallel forums, multiple special industry promotion activities, an International Green Industry Expo, a City Low-Carbon Life Festival, and a series of regular year-round events. It will bring together more than 100 prominent speakers and is expected to facilitate matchmaking and coordination for over 50 key green projects.

The forum also features the City Low-Carbon Life Festival, comprising three major activities: the Green Lifestyle Market, the "2026 Beijing Green Life Season Launch Ceremony–Green Life Experience Station", and the "Grand Canal Fashion Show–Green Living, Fashion Forward" (运河时尚秀场·绿尚共生).

The Green Lifestyle Market runs for 11 days (from September 17 to 27), bringing together a diverse mix of activities and products, such as eco-friendly handicrafts, organic farm produce, low-carbon home goods, and public-interest science outreach, while working with commercial districts to create a green consumption hotspot for the Mid-Autumn Festival. The site will feature a range of activities, including a low-carbon science exhibition, DIY handicrafts workshops, themed salons, other immersive experiences, and more.
