To accelerate the development of supercharger facilities in Beijing and provide the public with convenient, fast, and high-quality charging experiences, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform has approved the funding application for the first batch of supercharger project.

The funded project plans to build 65 supercharging stations and 240 supercharging piles across 15 districts, including Dongcheng, Xicheng, and Chaoyang Districts. Each of these stations will be equipped with at least two supercharging piles with an output power of over 360 kilowatts. The aim is to realize the ideal charging speed of "One Second of Charging, One Kilometer of Driving". Construction for the project had begun in September, and efforts are underway to ensure they will be operational by the end of 2024.
