Water gun battles, watermelon-eating contests, open-air cinema, live music and seas of flowers — Tongzhou has everything you need for the ultimate summer escape! 

The "Fun in Lucheng, Music All Summer" (一潞潮玩 唱响一夏) Lucheng Flower Sea Summer Music Season is now in full swing. From July 18 to August 2, the event will run daily from 19:30 to 22:00, with plenty of summer fun waiting to be discovered.

Visitors can request their favorite songs or even take to the stage for an impromptu performance. With professional lighting and sound equipment ready to go, is your inner performer calling?

The fun doesn't stop there. Outdoor movies, water-gun battles, food stalls and cultural and creative products fill the summer evenings with excitement. At weekends, visitors can also enjoy performances by guest bands and take part in watermelon-eating contests for a fun and relaxing night out.

Transport Guide:

Bus: Take Bus No. 822, 910, T13, or T17 to Caotuo Village (曹坨村) Bus Stop, then walk 200 meters west.  

Driving: Navigate to "Lucheng Flower Sea (Wuxing Road South Side Area) Parking Point" (潞城花海（武兴路南侧片区）停车点) for parking.

The fun is not exclusive to the evening. Tongzhou by day is equally worth the trip. Right next to the music festival, two stunning flower-viewing spots offer the perfect answer. 

South of Wuxing Road, layers of flowers stretch across the landscape. Delicate cosmos flowers mingle with vibrant sulphur cosmos, creating a dazzling display. Hidden among the flowers is a giant floral swing, offering the perfect backdrop for fresh and picturesque summer photos.

In addition, there is also a spacious football pitch nearby, making it easy to combine a relaxing flower walk with a game or workout.
