Beijing Tongzhou Railway Station, located in Beijing Municipal Administrative Center Integrated Transport Hub, officially began operations on December 30.

The station's roof uses a transparent ETFE membrane structure, which can reduce the harshness of direct sunlight while providing insulation in winter. Sunlight can reach as far as the station platforms, which are over 30 meters underground, ensuring ample illumination throughout the station.

Overall, the station features a multi-level structure with three underground levels plus two mezzanine levels, integrating intercity rail, metro lines, bus transfers, public amenities and municipal facilities. This design ensures both rapid and convenient transfers as well as easy access to urban living services.

On December 30, the station initially launched services for the Jingtang (Beijing-Tangshan) and Jingbin (Beijing-Binhai New Area) inter-city rail lines, providing train services to destinations including Beichen District in Tianjin Municipality, as well as Tangshan City, Qinhuangdao City, Xianghe County, Dachang Hui Autonomous County, and Yanjiao Town in Hebei Province. Services will be adjusted dynamically based on passenger flow to meet regional travel demands.
According to the daily scheduled train diagram, the fastest journey times from Beijing Tongzhou Railway Station are:
- 55 minutes to Tangshan Railway Station;
- 26 minutes to Baodi Railway Station;
- 56 minutes to Beichen Railway Station;
- 90 minutes to Qinhuangdao Railway Station;
