Hosted by the Tongzhou district government, the opening event of the District's consumption season was held today at the Tongzhou Grand Canal Culture Square. The theme of the consumption season is Happy Tongzhou, Happy shopping.

During the consumption season, Tongzhou district will utilize all of the district business, culture, tourism, sports and agriculture resources. Focusing on dining, attractions, retail, entertainment, culture and education, the district will hold online and offline consumption activities with various themes. During the opening event, Tongzhou's local service platform "Tonghuiduo" was officially launched and Coupons have been issued. From April 28 to May 2, an activity for exhibiting and selling vehicles will be held. 21 car dealerships will participate in the activity and more than 60 vehicles including 10 Hong Qi cars will be presented.

Tongzhou district will cooperate with key business circles to organize a series of activities during the May holiday. From May 1st to May 5th, an E-Sports Carnival will be held at the Link Plaza. 64 teams will compete in the carnival. Some promotional activities will also be held in Tongzhou, such as shopping discounts.

Focusing on e-commerce, live streaming and digital RMB, the district will guide commercial enterprises in holding online and offline sales and promotion. Commercial enterprises, banks and business organizations will hold full-scenario digital RMB pilot activities. Dong Minghui has this to say. 

Businesses will hold various family activities and promotion activities for retirees. we will hold a consumption festival themed "Digital and Intelligence Empower Life". We will create a new fashion integrated platform, combining cultural innovations, original markets, personalized music and digital experiences. We will also organize some sporting events to welcoming the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

Tongzhou district will also brand Songzhuang Art district and will hold art related activities. The International Grand Canal Cultural festival, Taihu performing arts week and intangible cultural heritage activities will be held as well. Through live streaming platforms, the district will host a range of culture events.
