The 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) recently concluded in Beijing. It drew participation from 676 enterprises and other organizations from around the globe, including "chain master" enterprises, specialized, high-end and innovation-driven SMEs that provide distinctive products or services, and other relevant institutions. This year's exhibitors came from 85 countries, regions and international organizations. Enterprises and other organizations from outside China accounted for 36.5 percent of all participating entities, while those among Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders made up as much as 65 percent. A total of 223 foreign delegations traveled to China specifically for the event, up 29.7 percent from the previous edition. The expo saw consistent improvements in international participation and industrial value.
This year's CISCE marked the beginning of its greater focus on the digital and intelligent sectors. For the first time, a dedicated exhibition zone for artificial intelligence was set up, where a total of 161 new products, technologies, services and application scenarios made their global debut—released or displayed for the first time.
A total of 60 Beijing-based enterprises and other organizations drew great attention with the debut of their new offerings, spanning healthcare, intelligent mobility, cross-border/boundary supply chains and other sectors. Leveraging self-developed core technologies, they continuously rolled out China's innovative solutions for industrial development.
So far, 115 enterprises and other organizations from around the world have confirmed their booth reservations for the 5th CISCE.
