Recently, three venues in Dongcheng District — Chuanyue Zhongguo, Yiyun Digital Art Center, and Lumicang Hutong — were officially designated as the Beijing Digital Consumption Experience Centers. Clustered in the heart of the city and just a short walk from one another, all three venues offer top-notch immersive experiences. Why not call up your friends this weekend and explore them together?

Chuanyue Zhongguo

Located on the 4th floor of Wangfujing Xiyue (Joy) Shopping Center, the Chuanyue Zhongguo Experience Center covers 234 square meters. Using a dynamic-motion seat system paired with a 270-degree panoramic screen, it integrates visual, auditory, and tactile sensations to create two immersive projects — "Journey Through China" and "Soaring Over China".

The "Journey Through China" project uses time as its axis, employing digital technology to weave fragmented historical and cultural symbols into tangible scenes. Visitors seated in chairs can "touch" the millennia-long pulse of Chinese civilization. Meanwhile, "Soaring Over China" adopts a spatial dimension, simulating a bird's-eye flight over China's iconic landscapes. Behind the thrilling motion experience lies a digital presentation of China's natural and cultural heritage.

Yiyun Digital Art Center

Housed on the 4th and 5th floors of the Beijing Department Store (South Wing) on Wangfujing Street, and spanning an impressive 4,008 square meters, Yiyun Digital Art Center is a new consumer experience that blends technology, art, and culture.

Its permanent exhibition, "Spirit Realm: A Future of Infinite Imagination", features a 2,200-square-meter "metaverse" immersive space. Following the theme of "time", the exhibition is divided into three sections: Time-Space Portal, Gravity of Inspiration, and Future Evolution Field. Using sensor technology, AI algorithms, and virtual engines, it reinterprets the intertwined history of art and technology in human civilization.

It also offers full-scenario digital services. From AI-guided tours and interactive installations to creative DIY heat transfer printing workshops, visitors can complete every step seamlessly through a mini-program.

Lumicang Hutong

The Lumicang area features an AI Magic Screen Photo Studio, designed to tackle two common frustrations at popular attractions — "it's hard to take good photos" and "slow photo processing". Here, visitors only need to stand in front of the AI screen. Without changing clothes or doing their makeup, they can obtain a professional photo infused with local cultural elements in just six seconds. This project leverages proprietary high-efficiency AI models, hybrid local + cloud computing, and TensorRT optimization to ensure fast processing and high image quality. It also offers derivative services such as digital collectibles and photo printing.
