Since the beginning of this year, Beijing has been steadily upgrading and optimizing key subway stations in the city by taking targeted measures. Recently, equipment and facility layouts at Wangfujing, Aoti Zhongxin (Olympic Sports Center), Chaoyang Men, Chongwen Men, and Dongzhimen stations have been completed, significantly enhancing passenger flow efficiency and service experience.
Wangfujing Station
By reorganizing passenger entry and exit routes, relocating seven self-service ticket machines and one online ticket pickup machine, and adding two new sets of entrance channels, the station has achieved a 40-percent increase in its entry capacity and a 20-percent expansion in its queuing space for exiting passengers.

Eight self-service ticket machines and one online ticket pickup machine were relocated to a less crowded area. This adjustment not only reduced overlapping passenger flows but also expanded the space for queuing for security checks by 40 percent.
