From September 13 to October 19, the Beijing Chrysanthemum Cultural Festival will be held at the Beijing International Flower Port. A 100,000-square-meter sea of chrysanthemums, diverse activities, and a dazzling variety of food are offering a feast for your eyes, taste buds, and soul!

Highlights include a giant floral sculpture titled "Flower Goddess Returns Home" (whose headpiece and hair parts well complement the chrysanthemum field), the pink "Romance Fills the House" greenhouse, and the northern part of the "Flower Sea on Earth" (purple-blue verbena and mechanical sculptures). These must-go landmarks and themed flower fields are your perfect photo spots!

The event is packed with exciting activities you won't want to miss. The immersive experiences centered on butterflies allow you to closely observe the entire life cycle of butterflies (egg—larva—pupa—adult) and witness hundreds of butterflies taking flight at the same time. The scenic area also offers Hanfu rentals, professional photo-taking services, and flower/butterfly-themed face-painting services. You can relax at an indoor café or on the outdoor camping area while savoring "Flower Goddess Coffee" exclusively available for the autumn season. Every weekend, folk bands perform live, and their performance during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays will be extended to 20:40 every night.
Each week brings new themed sub-events:
September 20–21: Tang-style Garden Fete (Intangible cultural heritage performances + Hanfu-themed day)
September 27: Family Garden Showcase (watch the winning works from the "Chrysanthemum Rhythm, Autumn Scenery" Design Competition)
October 1–8: Coffee and Music Carnival (original music + interactions with top-tier baristas)
October 12: Children's Talent Show (where kids will perform on stage)
October 18–19: Camping and Food Festival (food stalls + camping experiences)
Thoughtful services ensure that you can eat, drink, play, and shop worry-free. Six themed dining zones are arranged along the sightseeing route, so you can enjoy meals while marveling at the view. Seven supply stations offer snacks, cold drinks for quick energy boosts, as well as toys for children. Bicycles and electric carts are available for rent at the southwest, south, and north gates, while boats are available at the pier north of Tingfeng Pavilion for comfortable trips. You will also discover cultural events exclusive to Shunyi, such as the Yaowang Festival Temple Fair and the Autumn Market, for even more surprises.
