Experts from China, Europe, and the US deliver speeches during the section "The Role of Cultural Institutions in Fostering Understanding Between Cultures".

On topics such as "The Role of Cultural Institutions in Fostering Understanding Between Cultures", "The Future of Museums and Cultural Institutions", and "Harmony in Beauty: An International Dialogue on Beijing's Central Axis", the guests agreed that amid global tension and uncertainty, the bonds between civilizations become particularly important. As the key players in the international community, China, Europe, and the US should emphasize the value of cultural exchanges, from which they can gain inspiration for solving contemporary challenges and deepen mutual understanding. Museums and cultural heritage serve as important platforms and vehicles for exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations. Cultural institutions and museums in China, Europe, and the US shall closely cooperate on loan exhibitions and itinerant exhibitions, and strengthen the experience sharing on technology-powered cultural relics' preservation and exhibition, thereby better conveying the contemporary values of cultural heritage and highlighting the multiple roles of museums.

As a supporting event of the forum, a photo exhibition themed "Beijing Central Axis: A Masterpiece Ensemble Exhibiting the Ideal Order of the Chinese Capital" opened in Paris on the same day. Featuring about 100 selected photos, the exhibition illustrates the outstanding characteristics of Chinese civilization embodied in Beijing's Central Axis.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of China-EU diplomatic relations, this event featured a mode marked by "government participation, platform-building by think tanks and cultural empowerment", aimed at contributing to the peaceful development of the world through dialogues between museums. It also highlighted the unique advantages of Beijing as a center for international exchanges, and promoted the building of a community with a shared future for humanity.
