In 2025, the revenue of Beijing's information and software industry exceeded 3.7 trillion yuan, accounting for a quarter of the national total, with a growth rate higher than the national average. Its value added reached 1.2 trillion yuan, making up 23.4 percent of the city's GDP. In 2026, Beijing will focus on strengthening the leading role of platforms, deepening AI empowerment, expanding strategic initiatives and leading ecosystem development. The city aims to foster two to three leading enterprises with annual revenue exceeding ten billion yuan in the AIGC digital content industry.
