Recently, following a comprehensive evaluation and an online public announcement, Beijing has newly designated 10 Future Industry Cultivation Bases. As of now, there are 20 such bases in total in Beijing, which have attracted over 700 companies. Collectively, these bases have nurtured 129 "specialized, sophisticated, and innovative" enterprises, including 37 national-level "Little Giant" enterprises.

A relevant official from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology said that, going forward, the bureau will work closely with the districts hosting the bases to strengthen guidance and support services. Meanwhile, the bureau will roll out evaluation and reward mechanisms for the bases, accelerate the transformation of technological achievements in future industries, foster the growth of more small and medium-sized enterprises with outstanding innovation capabilities, thereby supporting Beijing's development into an international science and technology innovation center.
