The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will be held from September 9 to 13, 2026. Currently, more than 10 countries and international organizations, including Norway, Slovakia, the World Intellectual Property Organization(WIPO), and the World Trade Centers Association  (WTCA), have all announced plans to continue to participate through exhibitions and other sub-events. China's Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and Taiwan regions also plan to set up their own booths. In addition, nearly 100 companies (Fortune Global 500 companies and leading players in several industries), such as AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly and Company, Siemens, and COSCO SHIPPING, have indicated their intention to participate.

The 2026 CIFTIS will continue to host the high-profile Global Trade in Services Summit, inviting foreign dignitaries, heads of international organizations, and CEOs of multinational corporations to attend and deliver their keynote speeches. Alongside the summit, a series of forums and conferences will be held for stakeholders and practitioners from various sectors to exchange views, build consensus, and release key outcomes. This year's CIFTIS will once again feature a Guest Country of Honor and a Guest Province of Honor, while welcoming international organizations, leading countries and regions in service trade, and leading enterprises of specific industries to hold exhibitions and organize meetings. Additionally, it will invite foreign countries and regions, China's provincial-level administrative divisions, international organizations, and leading enterprises to release and interpret investment promotion policies, as well as promote their industrial advantages.

The Thematic Exhibitions are again included in this year's arrangement, which focus on key areas of service trade, such as financial services, cultural and tourism services, education services, and sports services. Focusing on industrial hotspots and development trends, these exhibitions will showcase new achievements, applications, and technologies in the service sector, including digital technologies, artificial intelligence, fintech, and R&D and design, while promoting the products and influence of "China Service" and "Beijing Service". A "Going Global" zone and a dedicated SME (small and medium-sized enterprises) exhibition zone will also be introduced for this edition.
