The finals of the HICOOL 2025 Global Entrepreneurship Competition were recently held at the the HICOOL Industrial Park (Phase II). This year's competition brought together top-tier startup projects from around the globe, spanning cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence, new energy, biopharmaceuticals, quantum information, and high-end equipment.
The finalist projects were notable for their characteristics of being "high-grade, precision, and cutting-edge" and "internationally-oriented", supported by strong investments. Data shows that nearly 40 percent of the 48 finalist projects are from three core tech verticals, namely "Medicine and Healthcare / Medical Devices", "AI / Robot", and "Key New Materials / New Energy / Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection". This fully demonstrates the competition's role as a hub bringing together global cutting-edge technologies and strategic emerging industries.
Internationalization stood as another defining feature of the competition. The finalist projects featured talented minds with exceptional experiences, with nearly one-third of the entrepreneurial professionals graduating from universities ranked among the top 50 in the QS World University Rankings, highlighting the event's strong appeal in attracting top global intellectual resources.
The HICOOL 2025 Global Entrepreneur Summit will commence in October at the Capital International Exhibition and Convention Center. The award-winning projects will be presented on the summit's stage, while cutting-edge innovations will be showcased to the global audience through formats such as project roadshows, achievement presentations, and roundtable dialogues. The summit is expected to become a "carnival for entrepreneurs around the world".
