These 20 measures are designed to lay a solid foundation for stabilizing foreign trade and fostering development throughout the year.

Yizhuang Comprehensive Bonded Zone Set for Independent Customs Operations This Year

Beijing Customs District will support the development of Tianzhu Comprehensive Bonded Zone as a pilot zone for securing the supply of medication for rare diseases, continuously enhance the effectiveness of the digital and intelligent supervision model at the Zhongguancun Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and deliver on the planning and construction efforts for the Yizhuang Comprehensive Bonded Zone.

Beijing Pharmaceutical Innovation Park Gaining Support

Work will be done to boost the pharmaceutical and health industry. Key initiatives include optimizing the approval process for special items, which will exempt drugs and medical devices from special sanitary quarantine approvals, promoting the intelligent approval system for special items and biological materials, facilitating the entry of biological materials for scientific research purposes, and supporting the development of Beijing Pharmaceutical Innovation Park.

Pilot Reform on Supervision Model for Imported Ice Fresh Aquatic Products

Beijing Customs District plans to introduce a "fast track" model for the import of ice-fresh aquatic products in the region of Beijing to enhance inspection efficiency.

Regarding the optimization of business environment at ports, the Measures explicitly highlights that a special action plan for facilitating cross-border trade will be launched in 2025 to alleviate tax and fee burdens on enterprises.
