The data shows that since October 14, Beijing Customs has inspected and cleared over 600,000 import and export lists of cross-border e-commerce retailers, with the total value of all products involved exceeding CNY 85 million. Perfumes and cosmetics made up the largest percentage of all products. Specifically, the number of the import lists exceeded 220,000, with a value of approximately CNY 59 million; while the number of the export lists was around 430,000, with a value of about CNY 35 million.
"Buy from the world, sell to the world." An increasing number of Beijing-based enterprises have been leveraging the momentum of the shopping festival to carry out business operations of cross-border e-commerce. It is reported that the local customs authority has collected information on enterprises' plans for the arrival of goods, customs clearance demands, and promotional arrangements in advance to ensure adequate support. Currently, instant customs clearance of conforming imported goods of cross-border e-commerce has been achieved.
