Recently, Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau , Beijing North Star Industrial Group Co., Ltd, and the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) signed a cooperation agreement on the recognition of professional qualifications. This marks the launch of the first international mutual recognition program for professional qualifications in China's convention and exhibition industry in Beijing.

The agreement signed this time is also the first fruit of cooperation of a governmental competent authority, an international convention organization, and an industrial leading enterprise in terms of vocational education and cultivation of skilled talented minds in the convention and exhibition industry. The three parties will deepen their cooperation in the exchanges of convention-relevant knowledge and capacity building, to further promote the high-quality and sustainable development of Beijing's and China's convention and exhibition industries, and to consequentially contribute to the high-level opening up.
