Following the official launch of the E-CNY International Operations Center on September 24, at the 2025 Financial Street Forum on October 27, the People's Bank of China announced the establishment of the E-CNY Operations and Management Center in Beijing.

The two centers complement each other in terms of functions, creating a multi-tiered, coordinated structure for the E-CNY. The Operations and Management Center will focus on strengthening the domestic core infrastructure and ecosystem foundations, accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies within the E-CNY system, and foster a sustainable development model. Meanwhile, the International Operations Center underlines global connectivity and is expanding cross-border cooperation and applications, shaping a pattern marked by domestic and international circulations.
