Scheduled to run from July 16 through October 7, the Beijing Summer Subsidized Public Film Screening Campaign offers five categories of money-saving perks: instant ticket discounts, family packages, discounts for specific films, the Hundred Flowers Bonus Week benefits, and the "Film+" perks.

Instant Ticket Discounts

Consumers can enjoy a 10-yuan discount per ticket for all films screened at Beijing's cinemas (up to two discounted tickets per person).

Family Packages

Families can enjoy a 15-yuan discount per ticket on purchases of three tickets or more in a single order (up to three discounted tickets per person).

Discounts for Specific Films

Ticket prices for selected films start at just 19.9 yuan, with per-ticket savings ranging from 2 to 60 yuan.

Hundred Flowers Bonus Week Benefits (August 5 to 11)

During the bonus week, the instant ticket discount will increase from 10 yuan to 15 yuan per ticket, and the family package discount will increase from 15 yuan to 20 yuan per ticket. These discounts will apply to both the screenings for the Hundred Flowers Film Festival and regular commercial screenings.

"Film+" Perks

Every consumer can get a coupon bundle with an order, which can be used for dining, sightseeing, entertainment, and other cultural, commercial, tourism, sports, and exhibition activities.

During the campaign, coupons are released at 9:30 daily through the following channels:

For users of Maoyan:

Open the Maoyan App, or the Meituan/Dianping App and navigate to the "Films/Performances" (电影/演出) section, or use WeChat to find "Pay and Services" and then tap "Event Tickets". In all cases, ensure your city is set to Beijing, then browse the list of Beijing's cinemas and select your desired cinema, film, and time.

For users of Taopiaopiao:

Access the campaign's page through the Taopiaopiao App or via its mini-program on WeChat, Alipay, or Taobao. You can also find the page of the "2026 Beijing Summer Subsidized Public Film Screening Campaign" (北京2026夏季惠民观影活动) on the homepage of the "Films" (电影) section of the Damai App.

The campaign is open to all residents and visitors in Beijing. Coupons are limited each day. First come, first served!
