The 2024 (18th) Beijing International Automotive Exhibition was launched on April 25 and will run until May 4 at the China International Exhibition Center. The exhibition covers a total area of 220,000 square meters and will attract 900 exhibitors, including 262 overseas ones.
This year, the exhibition is scheduled to display 117 models making their global premieres (including 30 ones of multinational companies), 41 concept car models, and 278 new energy vehicle (NEV) models. In addition, the NEV models developed by China's domestic brands remain highlights of the exhibition.
The exhibition is held in the Shunyi Hall and the Chaoyang Hall of the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. The Shunyi Hall mainly features Chinese and foreign passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and some well-known technology enterprises and media outlets related to the automotive industry. The Chaoyang Hall meanwhile focuses on showcasing Chinese and foreign automotive parts, equipment, and other related products.
The Shunyi Hall will be open to the public from April 27 to May 4. April 25 and 26 are designated as press days for Chinese and foreign journalists; April 27 and 28 are professional visitor days; and from April 29 to May 4, it will be open to the public. Except for May 4, visiting hours for professional visitor days and public visitor days are from 10:00 to 18:00. On May 4, the visiting hours are from 10:00 to 16:00.
The section at the Chaoyang Hall will open from April 25 to 27. The visiting hours are from 9:00 to 17:00 on April 25 and 26, and from 9:00 to 15:00 on April 27.
Visitors to this year's exhibition shall purchase tickets through a real-name verification-based reservation system and enter the venues by verifying their identity with their ID cards. Tickets can be reserved and purchased online by following the official WeChat account of the exhibition ("Beijing Guoji Qiche Zhanlanhui") and accessing the mini program "Beijing Guoji Chezhan Piaowu" (Beijing International Automotive Exhibition) , or through the exhibition's official website (www.autochinashow.org).
