This is a national-level museum established on the extensive collections of the National Library of China. By showing Chinese classics and promoting Chinese culture, this museum undertakes part of the social education functions of the National Library of China. With a total floor area of 11,549 square meters and 10 exhibition halls, it is China's first museum dedicated to classic books, as well as a multifunctional institution for the collection, exhibition, research and conservation of classic books, while serving the purposes of public education, cultural inheritance and cultural leisure.
