The China Customs Museum is a national-level professional museum managed by the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China. Its functions include collecting and preserving customs cultural relics, displaying and exchanging customs culture, researching customs history, and conducting patriotic education as well as professional education for staff working in border agencies.

Beijing Airports See Surging Tax Refunds for Overseas Travelers

In the first five months of this year, the customs of two major airports in Beijing processed departure tax refund applications for overseas travelers totaling approximately CNY 478 million (about USD 66.52 million), up 91.61 percent year on year, setting a new record high for the same period in history, according to Beijing Customs.
