The museum encompasses seven exhibition halls and a multi-functional hall.
The exhibits span a wide range of arts and crafts, including carvings of jade, stones, bamboo and wood. The exhibits are mostly the works created after the founding of the People's Republic of China, with 1,895 exhibits designated as exquisite masterpieces of arts and crafts. Among them are four large-scale jade artworks of exceptional value: "A Marvel of Mount Tai" (岱岳奇观), "Auspicious Fragrance Incense Vessel" (含香聚瑞), "A Basket of Blossoms in Splendor" (群芳揽胜), and "Jade Screen of Nine Dragons" (四海腾欢).
