Miaofeng Mountain Temple Fair, with a history of more than 400 years, was included in the "List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Items" in 2008. This year's fair not only features traditional folk performances such as "Gaoqiao Yangge" (a performance in which the performers dance on stilts) and "Zhongfan" (a performance in which each performer bears a high flag pole with various parts of his/her body without letting the pole fall), but also offers porridge and tea for free. The fair is scheduled to last until May 22.
