Foreigners who have obtained permanent residence status are required to reside and work in China with their permanent residence certificates, and to exit and enter China with their passports and permanent residence certificates.

The foreigner holding a permanent resident permit should apply for renewal within one month before the expiration of the certificate. If the content of the certificate is changed, he / she shall apply for renewal within one month after the change. If the certificate is damaged or lost, he / she shall apply for renewal or replacement in time.

Application
The fee for accepting foreigners’ permanent resident permit application is CNY ¥1,500 per person.

Issuance
Foreigners will be charged CNY ¥300 during the issuance of Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card.

Expiry
Foreigners will be charged CNY ¥300 for expiry, content change, renewal or re-issuance of the card.

Loss or damage
Foreigners will be charged CNY ¥600 for loss, damage or replacement of the card.
