If you have worked in Beijing for at least 4 consecutive years and resided in China for at least 6 months each year, with an annual salary income of CNY ¥ 500,000 or above for 4 consecutive years, then you may apply for permanent residence permit.
► 2 2-inch front bareheaded white or light blue background colored photos and electronic photo (submitted in CD).
► Photocopy of the applicant's valid foreign passport and work-type residence permits he/she applied for in the last 4 consecutive years.
► Photocopy of the certificate on no criminal record in foreign countries (all countries or regions that the applicant has resided continuously for more than 2 years before the date of application) (the certificate shall be certified by the Chinese embassy (consulate) in that country, or submit a certificate issued by the embassy (consulate) of that country in China, and the time the certificate is issued and the time the certificate is certified by the Chinese embassy (consulate) in the foreign country shall be within 6 months prior to the date of acceptance).
► Photocopy of the physical examination certificate issued by the health and quarantine department designated by the Chinese government or by a foreign medical institution certified by the Chinese embassy or consulate in that country (the exit-entry health and quarantine department designated in Beijing is the Beijing International Travel Health Care Center, and the certification shall be issued within 6 months prior to the date of acceptance).
► The original of the certificate of salary for 4 consecutive years prior to the date of application issued by the employer.
► Photocopy of individual tax payment certificate issued by the tax authority. The tax payment period shall be 4 consecutive years prior to the date of application.
► The original of the recommendation letter issued by the current employer.
► Photocopy of the registration certificate of the employer. For an enterprise, the “Duplicate of Business License” of the company shall be provided, for other entities, certificates such as the "Legal Person Certificate for a Public Institution" shall be provided. If the employer is a foreign-funded enterprise, the "Approval Certificate for a Foreign-Funded Enterprise"or the "Recordation Receipt for the Formation of a Foreign-Funded Enterprise" and the "Recordation Receipt for the Alteration of a Foreign-Funded Enterprise" of the enterprise shall be provided.
► Photocopy of the "Work Permit for Foreigners", the "Employment Certificate for Foreigners" or the "Foreign Expert Certificate". The valid time period shall be 4 consecutive years before the date of application by the applicant, and the information on employer, position and personal details shall be consistent with those indicated on the employment certificate and other relevant certificates.
► An applicant who had Chinese nationality before shall provide the photocopy of the certificate of eligibility for foreign settlement, the naturalization paper or the household certificate transcript, and the Chinese passport used for naturalization.
► The applicant's resume (from the age of 18 till now, the year and month shall be consecutive).

· The fee for accepting foreigners' permanent resident permit application is CNY ¥1,500 per person.
· Foreigners will be charged CNY ¥300 during the issuance of Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card.
· If one's Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card's valid period expires, content is changed, renewal or re-issuance is acquired, then the holder will be charged CNY ¥300 for each card.
· For loss, damage or replacement of Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card, the holder will be charged CNY ¥600 for each card.
· Certificates issued by relevant foreign institutions shall be certified by the Chinese embassy or consulate in that country.
· Materials in foreign language must be translated into Chinese, and the translation company's official seal shall be affixed to the translation.
· The original must be reviewed before submitting a photocopy, and a photocopy of A4 size shall be provided.
· If the applicant needs to print the Chinese name on the "Foreigner Permanent Resident ID Card", he/she shall clearly indicate whether to print the Chinese name in the "Other Matters to be Explained" column on the application form.
· An applicant who has not canceled the household registration in China shall apply after canceling the household registration.
What are the conditions for applying for permanent resident permit in China with an annual income in Beijing that meets the prescribed standards?
