Beijing will develop five premium industrial tourism routes to offer top-class phenomenal trendy leisure experiences.

Immersive Tour Route Featuring Smart Manufacturing

Leveraging the advanced intelligent manufacturing industrial belt in the southern part of the city, the tour route, with the theme of "Visiting the Smart Manufacturing City of the Future", will feature landmark facilities, such as the super factory for the new energy intelligent connected vehicles, the high-level autonomous driving demonstration zone, and the robotics innovation hub. It will be seamlessly integrated with popular tourist attractions such as the Universal Studios Beijing and Beijing Wildlife Park, to promote the industrial tourism brands of "Cutting-Edge Innovation in E-Town", "Sci-Tech Research in E-Town" and "Unmanned Technology in E-Town". This route will launch a "driverless + robotic service" special train, showcasing the latest achievements of China's new industrialization and high-end intelligent manufacturing sectors.

Scientific Exploration Tour Route Featuring "Rockets in the South" and "Satellites in the North"

Beijing Aviation and Aerospace Museum

Leveraging the carrier rocket research institutions in Beijing E-Town and Fengtai located in the south of Beijing, and the "Two Bombs and One Satellite" resources in Haidian and Changping in the northern part of the city, the tour route will be based on the subway system connecting Beijing Satellite Manufacturing Factory, Beijing Aviation and Aerospace Museum, China Space Museum and Huojian Street in E-Town. Popular tourist attractions such as the Olympic Forest Park and China Science and Technology Museum will serve as partners to launch a science education tour themed "Tour of Rockets by Subway".

Tour Route Featuring Revival of Industrial Legacies

Shougang Park

Leveraging the industrial relics of "Two Parks and One River" (Shougang Park, Beijing Garden Expo Park and the Yongding River) and "One Railway and Four Mines" (Jingmen Railway and four mines named respectively "Wangping", "Datai", "Muchengjian" and "Qianjuntai") in western Beijing, this route will focus on the transformation of an "industrial rust belt" into an "urban art district" and connect the tourism resources of the "Western Hill - Yongding River" cultural belt, including the No. 27 Factory and Beijing Garden Expo Park. It is expected to contribute to the building of the brand of "Touring the Western Hill for Industrial Micro-Vacations" with Shougang Park as the core.

Tour Route of Trendy Industrial Creativity

Based on the industrial heritage sites such as the electronics factory and the railway loopline in the city's northeastern suburb, with the cluster of industrial cultural creativity and design as the core, the tour route will launch the cultural tourism experience brand "'Walk798 'Tour in Artistic Northeastern Suburb". This initiative will connect key venues such as the 798-751 Park, Shouchuang Langyuan Station and the China Railway Museum (Dongjiao Hall) with partnering tourist attractions such as POP LAND and Liangma River International Style Waterfront to build a space combining culture, fashion and art together.

Smart Drive-Based Leisure Tour Route of Scenic Delights

Integrating the natural landscape, automobile and intelligent food processing resources in the city's northern suburbs, the route, with the new energy intelligent-connected vehicle mega-factories (BAIC STELATO, BAIC ORV and ‌Lixiang Auto) as the cores, will feature industrial tourism landmarks such as the local erguotou distillery and Aimer Fashion Factory, as well as popular tourist attractions like Beijing WTown, Yanqi Lake and the Mutianyu Great Wall, highlighting the unique offers of "industrial tourism, mountain villages and intangible cultural heritage experiences". Themed tours of "driving new energy vehicles, visiting super factories, tasting reservoir fish, drinking erguotou, and enjoying the beauty of countryside" will be launched to allow visitors to marvel at modern industrial wonders associated with premium liquor brewing and smart vehicle manufacturing.
