Developed through strategic cooperation of Shijingshan District People's Government of Beijing Municipality and ZGC Group, Zhongguancun Industrial Internet Park (ZII-Park) is located in Shijingshan District, the core of the Western Beijing Industrial Transformation and Upgrade Demonstration Zone and has been designated as one of Beijing's 300 key municipal-level projects for four consecutive years.
ZII-Park will be completed and put into use in 2026. It will become the largest industrial internet park in Beijing and among the top-tier facilities in China. The park is being developed and constructed in two phases, with its core area covering a total floor area of 450,000 square meters. The first phase, which covers 170,000 square meters, was completed in April 2024, while the second phase, encompassing 280,000 square meters, is expected to be completed and put into use in 2026.
In terms of the business layout, the development of this industrial park is empowered and upgraded through planning across eight dimensions, including the 5G+ industrial internet, an exhibition and display center, a hard technology incubator, a talent training base, demonstration production lines, an international convention center, a verification platform, and an engineering laboratory.
Since the beginning of the planning phase, the architectural design of the park's buildings has been conducted following the concepts of green, low-carbon, and sustainable development, in compliance with the GBL (Green Building Label) Three-Star and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certification standards. The industrial park has also been continuously upgrading its abundant commercial facilities, which now cover nearly 30,000 square meters, to better serve the people working there. In the second phase of the project, the park will introduce an incubator, an exhibition center, and a service platform successively. In addition, talent apartments will be provided to skilled employees in high-end industries.
