Ice and Snow Carnival at Yuyuantan Park

Yuyuantan Park's 16th Ice and Snow Carnival is underway. A ticket of CNY 50 will allow you to access 12 programs.
Opening hours:
9:00-17:00 every day (ticket sale ends at 16:00)
The carnival is expected to run until mid to late February 2025 (subject to weather conditions).

CNY 50/person (not including the rental fees for snow tubes; Tickets for the carnival are sold separately, and admission fee for the park remains unchanged)
"Quye" Ice and Snow Festival at Yeya Lake, Yanqing

On January 1, the "Quye" Ice and Snow Festival took place at Yeya Lake National Wetland Park, which will run till after the Spring Festival holiday. Over 10 recreational facilities and programs are available, including a snow slide, snow motorcycles, snow excavators, and more. Hotpots and stove-boiled tea are served in tents, offering tourists warmth and delicious meals during the freezing winter months. Tourists can also make reed paintings (an intangible cultural heritage item) and watch birds with the aid of professional guides.
Ice Waterfalls in Shenquan Gorge Scenic Area, Miaofengshan Town

Shenquan Gorge Scenic Area's massive ice waterfalls are something breathtaking that can only be seen in winter. The three larger ice waterfalls each stretches for about 100 meters long, with a height difference of more than 30 meters. At night, they become enigmatic and surreal due to the vibrant lights. From January 28 (Chinese New Year's Eve) until February 12 (Lantern Festival), the night show will be open to public every night from 18:00 to 21:00.

By bus: Take the bus No. M7 and get off at Tanchang (炭厂) Stop (Notes: The route is operated within limited periods. Please check the operating hours in advance to arrange your trip.)
By self-driving: Choose "Shenquan Gorge Scenic Area" (神泉峡风景区) as the destination on your navigation device.

① The park opens from 8:00 to 17:00, and ticket sale ends at 16:00;
② Tickets can also be booked online via designated platforms including Meituan.
Ticket prices:
CNY 36/person for adults;
CNY 28/person (22 percent off) for elderly people, ex-servicemen, and students with valid identification documents;
CNY 28/person (22 percent off) for tourist groups (over 30 people);
Free admission for children under 1.2 meters and people with disabilities with valid identification documents. Please bring your identity document for entry. One ticket is for one person and valid only on the booked day.
