On December 10, the Sino-French Law School at China University of Political Science and Law was inaugurated.

Functioning under the College of Comparative Law, the new school will join the Sino-German Law School and the Sino-American Law School to form a distinctive, high-level training system for foreign-related legal professionals. It will further advance the university's regional and country-specific studies and international cooperation in talent development.

Stéphane Braconnier, President of Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas (Paris II), expressed his hope for enhanced academic exchanges and joint research between the two institutions. He highlighted the goal of cultivating high-caliber, interdisciplinary legal professionals who are adept in both Chinese and French legal systems, fluent in French, and appreciative of both cultures. Such efforts, he noted, will strengthen the academic ties between China and France and contribute to deeper cooperation and integration in the field of law.
