A new train-themed cultural park has opened on Xueyuan Road in Haidian District, Beijing. The "World Cultural Hub of BLCU", built on the theme of a "Train for Mutual Learning Among Civilizations", has recently made its debut outside the east gate of Beijing Language and Culture University. Modeled as a steam train, the carriages house global cuisines, cultural and creative products, books, and more. It will serve as a window onto the world's diverse cultures and will host weekly activities such as performances, food tastings, and book exhibitions, offering the public an open space for cultural participation and exchange.

On its opening day, the park hosted its first event — the "Start of Winter" International Cultural Exchange Gathering. On the stage beside the "locomotive," BLCU's international students performed in traditional dress from their home countries. Inside the carriages, aromas from Arabic coffee, Argentine steak and Japanese cuisine filled the air. The university's clinic presented a range of traditional Chinese medicinal herbs, while Beijing Language and Culture University Press displayed campus cultural products such as seasonal tea cups, keychains, and pencil cases. Visitors also enjoyed stamp-collecting activities and hands-on activities at the printing workshop.
