Tsinghua University Art Museum Transforms Into a Palace of Music and Dance to Showcase African Art

As Tsinghua University celebrated its 114th anniversary, the Tsinghua University Art Museum held a public educational event themed around African art of music and dance on April 27. The event featured various sections such as "Face Painting" and "African Drum Dance", using distinctive African elements to present the mysterious and powerful essence of African culture and art. It offered the audience an immersive experience of the African artistic spirit and promoted cultural and artistic exchange between China and Africa.

2021 Spring Semester: Peking University and Tsinghua University to Open 83 Mutual Credit Courses

Beyond Arts and Crafts: From Morris to Mackintosh

This exhibition focuses on the Arts and Crafts Movement from the late 19th century to the early 20th century and brings together nearly 200 exhibits from institutions such as Victoria and Albert Museum from the United Kingdom and Tsinghua University Art Museum. It showcases the evolution and representative figures of the Arts and Crafts Movement and displays achievements in terms of bookbinding, illustration art, furniture-related dyeing and weaving, metal craftsmanship, ceramic decoration, and architectural design, among others.
