2021 Spring Semester: Peking University and Tsinghua University to Open 83 Mutual Credit Courses

According to the official Weibo account of Peking University, it will be deepening cooperation with Tsinghua University to open more mutual credit courses. In spring semester of this year, 695 slots will be opened in 83 courses for students from either university.

More specifically, Peking University will open 396 slots in 56 general education or core undergraduate courses, including new additions like a class called "charming robots". Tsinghua University will open 299 slots in 27 high-quality programs including such popular classes as "AI technology" and "big data & machine intelligence".

Peking University and Tsinghua University jointly started mutual recognition program for certain undergraduate course credits in 2020. As cooperation expands, more and more subject areas and professional fields will be covered by the program.
