This winter, the Taishitun section of the Qingshui River in Miyun, Beijing, has seen the arrival of an elegant group of "guests" — over sixty swans flocked here to spend the cold season. To everyone's delight, bird-watching enthusiasts have recorded a precious scene for the first time. Three rare swan species, namely whooper swans, mute swans, and tundra swans, were sharing the same waters in a single mixed flock.

All three species are second-class protected wild animals of China. Given their differing migration routes, resting periods, and habitat ranges, it is exceptionally rare to spot them together on the same stretch of river.
