Recently, an Asian desert warbler from afar showed up in Beijing, bringing a big surprise to bird watchers. It's learned that this is the first time this species has been spotted in Beijing.
Following in its footsteps, bird watchers pressed the shutters and captured the figures of this lovely guest with their cameras.
According to bird experts, Asian desert warblers are mainly found in the desert areas of the Eurasian continent, including China's Xinjiang, western Inner Mongolia and several other places. They usually migrate southward in winter. The presence of this bird in Beijing may be caused by an accidental deviation to the east during its migration.
