Canceling Driver Eligibility for Probationary Period Vehicle Types

Motor vehicle drivers who accumulate 12 demerit points for committing road traffic safety violations during the probationary period will have their corresponding driving licenses canceled.For the personnel of foreign embassies and consulates and representative offices of international organizations in China, the valid identity documents issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs may be used.(Source:Beijing Traffic Management Bureau).
The Cancellation of Driving Licenses

For a motor vehicle driver deemed to be physically unfit for driving a motor vehicle, losing his or her capacity for civil conduct, over the age of 60, etc., he shall apply for the cancellation of driving license at a vehicle management office in Beijing.
Reinstatement of Cancelled Driving Privileges

A motor vehicle driver whose driving license is cancelled because it has not been renewed for more than one year after the expiration date, but has been cancelled for no more than two years, can apply for reinstatement of the cancelled driving privilege after passing the examination on road traffic safety laws, regulations and related knowledge.
Driving License Renewal When a Driver Reaches the Required Age

A motor vehicle driver who holds a driving license issued by Beijing municipality to drive large buses, tractor-trailers, city buses, medium-sized buses, and large trucks shall downgrade his/her permitted vehicle type to small cars or small automatic transmission cars, and renew the driving license accordingly when he/she reaches the age of 60.
