To enhance the convenience of flower-viewing tours to the Summer Palace, China National Botanical Garden, and Fragrant Hills Park, Beijing's West Suburban Line will increase its capacity by operating linked trains and offer a "check-out-free exit" service during designated hours starting from March 15.

During peak hours, the West Suburban Line will activate a “check-out-free exit” mode at China National Botanical Garden Station, allowing passengers to exit without using their cards or QR codes for a faster and more convenient departure.

By check-out-free exit, the fare from the previous ride will be automatically deducted upon next metro entry within 30 days. If no metro travel occurs within 30 days, passengers can visit any station counter for manual settlement. A QR code holder will receive a reminder and be compensated for the ticket based on the situation.

During the flower-viewing season at parks along the West Suburban Line, major stations with high passenger flow such as Bagou, China National Botanical Garden, and Fragrant Hills Park, will implement multiple measures to better meet the commuting and tour needs of passengers. These include the staff guidance, manual collection of QR code paper tickets, broadcast announcements, and the installation of mobile ticket gates to enhance service efficiency.

According to previous passenger flow data, during the "Flower-Viewing Season" along the West Suburban Line, the peak hours on weekends and holidays will typically fall between 9:00 and 12:00, and the peak hours for returning from 15:00 to 17:00. It is recommended that passengers take the subway during off-peak hours. At the China National Botanical Garden Station, travelers will have to wait a long time to access the station because of the small platform and ticket check-out areas. To cut down on wait times, it is advised to use the Fragrant Hills Station, which is close to the China National Botanical Garden's west entrance.
