Every morning, three high-speed trains, G7872, G7862, and G7852, arrive at Chaoyang Station successively. These commuter trains carry passengers from Miyun Station, Huairou South Station, and Shunyi West Station directly to the urban area of Beijing. Among them, the journey from Miyun Station only takes less than 40 minutes.

After the adjustment of the national railway diagram on January 5, 2025, China Railway Beijing Engineering Group added and resumed multiple high-speed trains. Currently, during morning rush hours, three commuter high-speed trains can depart successively from Miyun Station and Huairou South Station for Beijing urban area, and two from Shunyi West Station.

According to data from the railway department, in the past month after the new high-speed trains were put into operation, the rush hours witnessed over 500 passengers bound for Beijing from Miyun, Huairou, and Shunyi, over 610 to Shunyi, Huairou, and Miyun, and over 320 from Yanjiao Station to Beijing. The operation of commuter high-speed trains has greatly facilitated the commuting of people working in Beijing and alleviated congestion on highways entering Beijing and urban ground transportation.
