On January 1, the "Beijing Service" airport service counters officially began operations. The opening of these counters marks another major step made to enhance the international city services of Beijing.

The counters are located at Terminal 3 of Beijing Capital International Airport and the International Arrivals Exit of Beijing Daxing International Airport, providing more than 20 most requested services across four major categories including finance, communication, transport, and cultural tourism.

In terms of Payment Services, each counter offers foreigners services such as cash withdrawals with foreign bank cards, currency exchange, and instructions on downloading mobile payment Apps, helping foreigners seamlessly adapt to Beijing's digital lifestyle. The Mobile Services area offers services like fast SIM card issuance and smooth access to airport Wi-Fi, meeting the instant communication needs of foreigners. At the Transport Services area, foreigners can purchase the multifunctional transport cards known as "BEIJING PASS", airport shuttle bus tickets, subway tickets, and more. Leveraging Beijing’s rich tourism resources, professional staff at the Tourist Services area tailor travel routes based on tourists' needs and assist with ticket bookings. It is noteworthy that the counter at Beijing Capital International Airport also provides free half-day Beijing tours for inbound passengers entering Beijing for transit purposes. Both service counters also offer promotional pamphlets featuring information on various cultural, sports, and business activities to help foreigners quickly adapt to Beijing's lifestyles.

In addition, the International Web Portal of Beijing simultaneously launched an online version of the "Beijing Service" airport counters. Notably, on this web page, foreign travelers can schedule appointments to apply for SIM cards issued by China Mobile and China Unicom. This allows them to collect their SIM cards and use them as soon as they arrive at any of the airport service counters, ensuring a convenient and efficient experience.
