On July 15, Beijing Daxing International Airport officially launched the electronic boarding pass services for international and regional flights, with British Airways and Hong Kong Airlines being the first to provide the services. The new services will further improve the travel experience for passengers on these routes.

An electronic boarding pass (EBP) for an international/regional flight is an electronic voucher that the passenger concerned obtains after completing check-in procedures through an online platform. The EBP serves the same function as a traditional physical boarding pass. By presenting EBPs for international/regional flights, passengers can proceed through all flight-related procedures, including security check, duty-free shopping, application for departure tax refunds, customs check, and immigration inspection.

Having finished check-in through the airline's official online channel, passengers without checked baggage can directly receive security check, customs check and border inspection after arriving at Beijing Daxing International Airport. However, passengers with baggage to check in must visit the airline's counter to complete the relevant procedures.

During the summer travel rush, Beijing Daxing International Airport has witnessed a continuous increase in international passenger volume. The launch of the EBP services for international and regional flights will further enhance the travel efficiency for passengers. Moving forward, the airport will continue to promote more airlines to provide the EBP services for their international and regional flights.
