The 2025 edition of the Beijing English Map was recently launched, incorporating information updated through the end of 2025. To access the map, click the following link:

The 2025 edition supports a wider range of services and features, covering historical and cultural information, currency exchange, departure tax refunds, document processing, SIM card and transportation card purchases, self-driving services, attractions and venues guide, as well as dining and retail options. This comprehensive update allows foreigners to easily navigate life in Beijing.

The updated map offers an enriched array of information, including departure tax refund procedures, contact numbers for driver's license renewal and car rental outlets, hotel star ratings, and opening hours of parks and other scenic areas. It also underlines Beijing's historical and cultural heritage by displaying the city's UNESCO World Heritage sites, major landmarks, traditional streets and hutongs, and time-honored brands.

The new map indicates 1,111 traditional streets and hutongs that are on the List of Traditional Geographical Names Under Protection (传统地名保护名录), allowing users to search for information such as their history and name origins. It also pinpoints the locations of 89 self-service currency exchange machines, which provide exchange services for cash in more than 10 major currencies, such as the US Dollar, British Pound, Japanese Yen, and Euro. In addition, the map precisely marks the locations of 23 major stores piloting the Instant Tax Refund upon Purchase service, while providing their contact numbers and step-by-step refund guidance.
