Beijing's new round of traffic restrictions based on the last digits of license plate numbers will come into effect from September 29 to December 28, 2025. During this period, cars with license plate numbers ending with 4 and 9, 5 and 0, 1 and 6, 2 and 7, and 3 and 8 are prohibited from running in certain areas from Monday to Friday, respectively. Vehicles with license plate numbers ending with English letters will be treated as ending with 0.

The restrictions are enforced daily from 7:00 to 20:00, covering roads within the 5th Ring Road (excluding the 5th Ring Road).
